Attitude
Attitude ain’t just for ballet anymore.
Dude, check out that attitude attitude I’ve got going here. It looks like ballet skills are paying off and are transferable, or are my cyclocross skills transferable? Either way, I love the leaps!
I might even venture to say, wait for it, wait for it, I’ve got good attitude.
FYI, that’s how you get on a moving bike covered in 10lbs of mud, it ain’t easy.

If only the feet were pointed…
Seriously though, that’s an awesome shot – is it from Nats? One of my mates was competing at the weekend, was gutted I couldn’t watch him…

Turnout and pointing are a bit difficult when your feet are attached to your pedals.
Actually that is from our state championship race. I’m leaving for masters worlds tomorrow, in Louisville KY.

Holy crap, Chris! That is awesome! Love the pink & gray

Thanks, that is what I do when I’m not in ballet.
Our team rocks the pink kits, we tend to stick out of the crowd in a sea of ugly and unimaginative team kits, it makes us easy to spot while racing.
To most cyclocross looks insane, but it’s soooo much fun!
My remounting skills (jumping on a moving bike) have improved greatly thanks to ballet. All that leaping that everyone in class hates and I love has helped me greatly.
Chalk one up for ballet!

Wow, this is impressive! I don’t think I’d be able to do that.
Also, my teacher wrote something recently in her blog about how ballet is great for cyclists (or whatever it’s called). Seems like you’ve got a winning combination!!!
(Pun intended)

It took me a moment but I got the pun, well done.
I’d like to check out your teachers blog, do you know the address?
Oh yeah, cyclist is the correct term, but it sounds overly formal to me.
